Civil Use of Nuclear Eneregy is a sustable source Economic progress. Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) has not only working to provide cheap electricity but also actively working in the field of health and agriculture said by Chairman Atomic Energy Commission Scientist Muhammad Naeem addressing in the Rabita Forum international seminar on 28th March 2017 in a local hotel. The other speakers were Dr. Muhammad Ali Memon Director Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital Karachi, Dr. Shahid Mansoor Director National Institute of Biology & Genetic Engineering Faisalabad, Syed Yousuf Raza Member Power PAEC and Dr. Shahida Wizarat Director Research Institute of Business Management Karachi (IoBM). Dr. Shahida wizarat showed concern in using genetically modified seed to destroy Pakistan’s agriculture production in which Pakistan is self sufficient. Dr. Shahid Mansoor said that PAEC has capability to identify the seed’s quality and if it is modified, should the concern approaches our centre in Faisalabad. Syed Yousuf Raza said that by May 2017 PAEC shall be able to insert about 1450MW in the national grid to provide some relief to the people of Pakistan. The Chiarman Scientist Muhammad Naeem elaborated that as per government vision PAEC will be able induct another 2200 MW by 2021, 8800MW by 2030 and 40,000 MW by 2050 from Nuclear source. Earlier Mr. Zafar Imam Director Events presented welcome address and explained the services that RFI has done in the interest of Pakistan. Finally Mr. Nusrat Mirza Chairman RFI thanked all guests specially the Chairman PAEC who and his institution is working so silently but dedicatedly to make the difficulties of Pakistan solved and suffering of people reduced. Large numbers of professors, Head of the departments and senior students attended the seminar and in question and Answer session appreciated PAEC and RFI to provide the knowledge that people could be benefitted by using PAEC facilities and services.
